Free physician wellness CME event in Evansville Saturday
All physicians and medical staff are welcome to attend “Pathways to Wellness,” a free four-hour CME event on Saturday that will feature multiple speakers at Bally’s Executive Conference Center in Evansville.  The Vanderburgh County Medical Society is facilitating the event.

Author and speaker Adam Hill, MD, will headline the event, and the first 100 participants will receive a free copy of his book “Long Walk Out of the Woods: A Physician’s Story of Addiction, Depression, Hope, and Recovery.” Additional speakers include Andrea Lantz, MSW, LCSW, an advanced care planning facilitator and instructor, and Kristi Cirignano, JD, CFWC, a functional wellness coach.

Topics to be discussed include understanding the signs of compassion fatigue and implementing strategies to protect yourself from it; essentials for vibrant wellness; and recognizing stress and adopting healthy habits to combat and prevent burnout. 

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at the conference center, located at 421 NW Riverside Drive, Evansville, with presentations begging at 8 a.m. and concluding at 12:30 p.m.
