Join your fellow physicians on Friday, Sept. 25, with ISMA’s annual Physician Wellness Symposium — a day devoted entirely to supporting physician well-being!
This year’s keynote speaker is Adam Hill, MD, an author and a physician in long-term addiction recovery. Jason Marker, MD, who is instrumental in the development, leadership, and content delivery of several physician leadership initiatives, will speak. Kyra Reed, MD, of the Indiana University School of Medicine, will discuss her educational research with a scholarly focus on resident well-being, learning environment optimization, and interprofessional communication in the clinical learning environment. In addition, President of the Indiana Hospital Association (IHA) Scott Tittle, JD, and IHA Board Chair Jim Callaghan, MD, will lead a session on building a thriving physician workforce amid a changing health care landscape. Plus, participants will have the opportunity to meet ISMA’s new Executive Vice President Clif Knight, MD, who will be moderating the event.
Join special guests: the therapy dogs from Paws and Think. The joy of sitting with one of these sweet dogs during a stressful day is a treat! Enjoy a chair massage courtesy of the ISMA Insurance Agency.
Vox Medicinus, Indiana University School of Medicine's choir will perform at lunch.
