In honor of National Doctors’ Day, ISMA asked the 2021 Indiana General Assembly to join our organization in recognizing the contributions of Indiana physicians to protecting the health of Hoosiers. In response, the General Assembly passed House Resolution 28 (HR 28) on Doctors’ Day, March 30.

The resolution, introduced by Rep. Tim Brown, MD (R-Crawfordsville), Rep. Brad Barrett, MD (R-Richmond) and Rep. Rita Fleming, MD (D-Jeffersonville), recognizes  physicians’ extensive training, their commitment to leading health care teams and protecting patients, their contributions to Indiana’s economy and their extraordinary service caring 
for Hoosiers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
