ISMA Is seeking member volunteers for two initiatives: a social drivers of health (SDOH) task force and a physician wellness steering committee. Information on the groups, including registration, is below. ISMA will be in touch after sign-up is completed.
SDOH task force
The SDOH task force will explore and evaluate the present state of SDOH in Indiana and the successes and barriers physicians are experiencing, and provide recommendations as to the best tools and resources that should be developed to support providers.
This task force, which will meet once per month, was created through ISMA’s recently launched
SDOH project.

Physician wellness steering committee
ISMA is also looking for volunteers for a physician wellness steering committee.
The steering committee’s goals will be to promote the well-being and resilience of physicians and partners, and to develop and scale statewide physician wellness resources, programs and services to allow physicians to thrive provisionally and personally while providing high-quality patient care.
This committee was created at the request of ISMA member physicians, and it falls under ISMA’s strategic plan of incorporating whole-person health.
