ISMA was proud to sponsor the Finding Inspiration and Resilience in Medicine (FIRM) conference on Jan. 13. The annual collaboration between IU School of Medicine and Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine brings together medical professional school students in Indianapolis for sessions on wellness, mental health and self-care.
Several ISMA physician members spoke at the symposium: Andreia Alexander, MD, “Achieving, Then Leading Through Adversity: Lessons Learned”; Curt Ward, MD, closing remarks; Jane Bridges, MD, “My Advice to My Younger Physician Self”; Richard Gunderman, MD, opening remarks; and Peter Gunderman, MD, “Opportunities for Taking Ownership as a Medical Student and Resident.”
