Mark your calendars: the annual ISMA Physician Advocacy Day at the Statehouse is February 11, 2026.

This yearly event is a chance to meet with legislators face to face and make the case for sound health policy firsthand. The more white coats in the Statehouse, the more impact. 

In order to increase the likelihood that the ISMA staff can connect physicians with their legislators, please be sure to register as soon as possible and no later than Monday, Jan. 12, 2026. Registration will remain open after Jan. 12 for all attendees. ISMA cannot ensure meetings with officials for registrants after the Jan. 12 deadline. 

During the event, there will be ample opportunities to network with colleagues from across the state, meet with legislators, and advocate for the practice of medicine in Indiana. ISMA staff will provide fact sheets and other resources to help inform discussions and further develop personal relationships with legislators for the future!
