ISMA’s online pre-convention resolution publishing and commenting tool, ISMA Pulse, now offers year-round updates for resolutions to all members.
With Pulse 3.0, members can now monitor progress on the current year’s resolutions and sign up to receive automated notifications when there are updates to them. Other new features include reporting capabilities and a resolution archive.
ISMA Pulse, which debuted before the 2021 virtual ISMA convention, lets any member participate in making policy by sharing feedback and comments about ISMA resolutions before the annual in-person convention in September. ISMA saw a 56% increase in member-to-member engagement and a 15% increase in “microphone moments” from 2022 to 2023. Over the past year, there was also a 60% increase in average feedback responses per resolution.
These new capabilities went live following the 174th ISMA Annual Convention, and a video explaining the changes can be viewed at
www.ismanet.org/convention.
How to utilize the Pulse 3.0’s new features:
- Visit www.ismapulse.com and sign in with your ISMA username and password.
- Click “Resolution Implementation” at the top of your screen. A list of the 2023 resolutions and their statuses will then appear as a dashboard. You can view the resolutions individually by clicking on their title.
- With each resolution, you can click the blue “subscribe” button on the right to receive updates via email.
