Register now for ISMA Physician Advocacy Week – Feb. 7-10

Registration is now open for the 2022 ISMA Physician Advocacy Week, to be held Feb. 7-10, including a town-hall style online forum with state senators and representatives.

While ISMA initially planned for an in-person, one-day event at the Indiana Statehouse, the ongoing pandemic and surge in COVID-19 cases forced the Government Relations team to once again go virtual.

Several opportunities will be offered over the entire week for members to get involved. Physicians, medical students and society staff are encouraged to participate by connecting with their legislators and sharing important information on legislative proposals that impact the practice of medicine in the Hoosier State.

In the coming week, those who register will be sent an advocacy packet containing fact sheets, talking points, a Zoom link to attend the ISMA Virtual Town Hall and other information and tools needed to ensure the voices of organized medicine are heard about ISMA’s priority bills.
