Thanks to all ISMA members who volunteered as Physician of the Day at the Statehouse in January. This service is an important opportunity to represent ISMA to lawmakers and to see the legislative process firsthand. A few members are still needed in March. 

The one-day commitment entails being available to treat minor ailments of legislators and their staffs from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm in the Physician of the Day office. Spots are available every weekday except Friday, and volunteers must be comfortable performing CPR. Physicians of the Day are also introduced in the House and the Senate.
