IMPAC needs financial support TODAY
In the last year, Indiana has taken important steps to benefit patients and physicians. The General Assembly significantly expanded restrictions on noncompete clauses, prohibiting their use in all future physician contracts with hospitals. Despite a grim economic forecast, state budgeters maintained Indiana’s commitment to Graduate Medical Education, providing funding for the residency slots that will produce Indiana’s next generation of physicians. Legislators took a first step toward addressing senseless prior authorization requirements, mandating peer-to-peer consultations when coverage is denied. And physicians, as always, led the way in combating illnesses old and new.

Your IMPAC contribution means ISMA can continue to fight for physicians by supporting the campaigns of Hoosiers who align with ISMA’s policy agenda.

“Governor’s Club” and “President’s Club” donors receive exclusive IMPAC attire:
$2,000 - President’s Club
$1,500 - Governor's Club
$1,000 - Senate Club
$500 - House Club
$365 - Dollar-A-Day

IMPAC Social to offer expert news panel
Donors to IMPAC, the ISMA’s political action committee, will get an exclusive analysis of the 2026 election outlook at the 176th ISMA Convention on Friday, Sept. 26.

For the third straight year, the IMPAC Social will feature insights from a panel of Indiana political experts assessing the state and national political landscape.

In addition to the panel discussion, the IMPAC Social is a chance for physicians to chat in an informal atmosphere with colleagues from across the state. The IMPAC Social runs from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 26, and the panel discussion is scheduled for 7-8 p.m.

The IMPAC Social and IMPAC Lounge are open to IMPAC donors only, so remember to contribute before convention weekend. If you aren’t sure whether you donated this year, or would rather donate at the door, staff will be present to assist you.
