The AMA has released its detailed summary of the 2021 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) and Quality Payment Program (QPP), published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on Aug. 3. The rule covers topics such as the CY 2021 conversion factor, E/M office visit services, telehealth and other communications technology, scope of practice and updates to the QPP. AMA will share its detailed comments on the proposed rule with ISMA and other federation members before submitting them to CMS.
