Webinar answers questions about information blocking rules
The AMA has asked ISMA to share information with members about a series of webinars to discuss the information blocking requirements of the 21st Century Cures Act. The first free webinar presented by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is Sept. 14 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. EST.

This presentation is physician-focused and is an opportunity to ask questions and get answers from ONC’s experts; details on how to register for the webinar are below. For additional information on complying with the information blocking rules, read previous coverage in ISMA Reports.

Join the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) on Sept. 14, 2021 for the first in a series of clinician-focused webinars on the information blocking regulation. ONC experts will explain how ONC supports secure, appropriate sharing of electronic health information and how information sharing leads to more affordable and equitable care and improved care quality.

Hear answers to questions such as:
  • What is information blocking and why should I care?
  • Why is information sharing so important?
  • What information needs to be shared and with whom?
