ISMA officers, AMA delegates and alternates to be elected at convention
Officers elected each year at the annual House of Delegates include the ISMA president, president-elect, speaker, vice speaker, treasurer and assistant treasurer. Delegates and alternate delegates to the AMA serve two-year terms and are elected on a staggered basis. To be eligible for ISMA officer or AMA delegation positions, a candidate must have been an active member of ISMA for the preceding two years.

Candidates may declare their intent to run for office any time before elections are held at the ISMA convention by submitting a Declaration of Candidacy form. Only candidates who have submitted this form will be announced in ISMA Reports and on the ISMA website. 

Nominations for officers may be made at any session of the House of Delegates, so that nominations remain open until elections occur at the annual convention. Officers are elected annually and serve until their successor is elected and installed.
