Nominations for district officers due by Thursday, Aug. 6
As communicated in emails to ISMA members sent July 23 and 27, nominations and elections for ISMA district offices are being conducted virtually this year. Please refer to those emails for information on officers’ duties and how to submit nominations, which are due by 4:30 p.m. next Thursday, Aug. 6.

View open offices and nominees: A list of open offices and nominees in each district is posted online and will be updated daily until nominations are closed.

Eligibility for district office: You may nominate yourself or another physician for district office. Nominees must be current members of ISMA in the district for which they are being nominated. ISMA staff will confirm that nominees are eligible and willing to run for office. Staff will also provide nominees the opportunity to submit a short bio and headshot to be included with the online ballot.

Nomination deadline: All nominations must be submitted using the attached form by 4:30 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, Aug. 6.

Election timeline: On or before Aug. 20, district members will receive an email linking to an online ballot. Voting will remain open for two weeks, and results will be published online or distributed via email before the virtual House of Delegates meeting on Sunday, Sept. 13.
