Another ISMA member has declared their candidacy for a 2022-2023 office. Andrew Trobridge, MD, current speaker of the House of Delegates (HOD), has filed a Declaration of Candidacy for re-election to that post.

Officers elected at convention include the ISMA president-elect, speaker, vice speaker, treasurer and assistant treasurer. In addition, AMA delegates and alternate delegates serve two-year terms and are elected on a staggered basis. To be eligible, a candidate must have been an active ISMA member for the past two years.

Candidates may declare their intent to run any time before elections. Only those who submit the form at www.ismanet.org/CandidateForm will be announced in ISMA publications. Nominations may be made at any HOD session and remain open until elections occur at convention. Officers serve until their successor is installed.
