Student begins ISMA fellowship

  Bella Concannon
Bella Concannon, a second-year medical student at Indiana University School of Medicine, began her summer fellowship last week. She will assist the government relations team with sunsetting resolutions and research resolutions to help prepare for the 177th ISMA Convention.

“I am interested in better understanding the background and implementation of health care policy,” Concannon said. “As someone interested in public health, I am also looking forward to seeing how government action translates into community health.”

Concannon added that, though she doesn't have a specific specialty in mind and is excited to explore different medical fields, she is curious about the work of various pediatric specialists.
