ISMA is proud to serve as a recognized accreditor through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). As part of maintaining this recognition, ISMA recently underwent a Maintenance of Recognition audit. Through this recognition, ACCME authorizes state medical societies to accredit CME providers that serve physicians within their state or neighboring regions. ISMA successfully met all markers of equivalency, which evaluate key areas, such as rules, processes, interpretation, outcomes, and continuous improvement.
ISMA is one of 28 state medical societies nationwide that hold this distinction and serves as the accreditor for Indiana.
