Kelsey Quin, DO, named 2020 ISMA Future Physician Leader
Kelsey Quin, DO, has been named the ISMA Future Physician Leader for 2020.

The honor, announced May 29, was established in 2017. It is presented each year to a Marian University of Osteopathic Medicine (MU-COM) graduate who has a positive vision for organized medicine and contributes enthusiastically to that vision. Honorees are dedicated to advancing the role of physicians in their personal, professional and community lives and exhibit compassion, respect and collaboration through advocacy, education and mentoring.

Because the COVID-19 emergency required the MU-COM awards ceremony to be conducted virtually, ISMA President Lisa Hatcher, MD, recorded a video message to announce Dr. Quin’s selection and to congratulate her. The entire awards ceremony video may be viewed here

Dr. Quin was active in the ISMA Medical Student Society (MSS) throughout her time at MU-COM. She represented the MSS as an ISMA trustee and alternate trustee, alternate member of the House of Delegates and member of the Commission on Legislation. She also served on a reference committee for the ISMA House of Delegates.
