ISMA supports letter concerning No Surprises Act legislation
ISMA signed on to the federation letter to U.S. senators and representatives regarding much needed improvements to the No Surprises Act's (NSA) Independent Dispute Resolutions (IDR) process.  In an effort to help change the narrative, attached is a sign-on letter supporting the No Surprises Act Enforcement Act, introduced as companion legislation in the House (H.R. 4710) and Senate (S. 2420). Both bills would authorize penalties on any party that does not adhere to the statutory timelines for payment after an IDR entity has made a final and binding determination.
