ISMA Pulse upgrading features in 2023; will provide greater transparency in resolution journey

ISMA’s online pre-convention resolution publishing and commenting tool, ISMA Pulse, is expanding in 2023 to offer year-round transparency for resolution authors and all members.

With Pulse 3.0, available after the 174th ISMA Annual Convention from Sept. 8-10, members will be able to log on to monitor progress on the current year’s resolutions and sign up to receive automated notifications when there are updates. Other new features will include reporting capabilities and a resolution archive.

ISMA Pulse, which debuted before the 2021 virtual ISMA convention, lets any member participate in making policy by sharing feedback and comments about ISMA resolutions before the in-person convention. ISMA Pulse has seen a 77% increase in use since 2021 by members, and the number of responses per resolution has increased by 180% over the last two years.

Resolutions for this year’s convention must be submitted by June 11. The current version of ISMA Pulse will then be used during the commenting period before convention.

Keep an eye on ISMA Reports and your email inbox for future updates on Pulse 3.0, the comment period and convention.
