ISMA stands by physicians’ response to COVID-19 pandemic
ISMA leadership and staff are aware of a recent report issued by Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita criticizing the state’s health statistics reporting and management of the COVID-19 pandemic. An example of the media coverage of the report, which was unveiled during a political rally in Mishawaka, can be found here

As we approach Doctors Day, ISMA leadership and staff wish to take this opportunity to thank all the state’s physicians and other health care workers for their tireless efforts in testing, treating and vaccinating Hoosier patients to help us all get through the pandemic. Physicians taking care of COVID and non-COVID patients endured great challenges, which many physicians are still recovering from physically, emotionally and psychologically. ISMA stands in proud admiration, respect and support of Indiana physicians as we strive to be one of the best states in which to practice medicine, and to make Hoosiers among the healthiest people in the country.
