Increasing the value of membership is an important part of ISMA’s strategic plan. With that in mind, ISMA has begun adding exciting new benefits to make members’ work lives easier and create, cost-effective new family and leisure opportunities.

“In last year’s member survey, we were not surprised to see our work in advocacy, education and communications listed as the ISMA services physician members value the most,” said Dave Albin, ISMA senior director of membership and marketing.

“We also saw an opportunity to round out those key areas with additional benefits,” Albin said. “These benefits enhance membership value with new deals and discounts on everyday life experiences such as travel or entertainment. In addition, the ProAssurance 5% premium credit and Indiana Drug Card savings make medical practice and patient care more cost-effective.

Other new benefits include discounts on tickets to see Victor Oladipo and the Indiana Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, as well as Indianapolis Colts and Indianapolis Indians games in season. Members also receive special rates on Indianapolis Zoo visits and memberships, and flowers and other gifts from 1-800Flowers.com. Professional offerings include special rates on technology services, office supplies and technology training.

“ISMA recognizes that physicians work hard every day and are committed to the care of their patients,” said Katie Kluger, ISMA member relations liaison. “And, ISMA is dedicated to the care of physicians by providing resources, tools, and discounts for all practice types and career stages.”
