Meet your upcoming CSR, MATE Act CME requirements with ISMA
Indiana requires all physicians holding a Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) to attest to completing two hours of Opioid Use Disorder continuing medical education (CME) by the end of October in odd-numbered years.

Additionally, as of June 27, a new federal law requires ALL DEA-registered physicians to undergo a one-time, eight-hour training requirement incorporating education on treating and managing patients with opioid or other substance use disorders.

Haven’t met those requirements yet? ISMA has you covered.

More than 25 archived hours of qualifying opioid-related CME are available on-demand FREE for members via the ISMA Online app, and we’ve created an FAQ to address common questions related to the act, including whether past CME fulfills your MATE Act needs or if you’re exempt from the requirements.

Physicians who are not ISMA members, and nonphysician CSR holders, may subscribe to the ISMA Opioid Series for $400. The cost of an ISMA membership – which gives you all the CME content for free, and dozens of other benefits – is $490 and is good for the rest of 2023 and all of 2024.

Opioid Mini-Series recently expanded
Need to meet your CME requirements but having trouble fitting the hours into your busy schedule? An additional five episodes in ISMA’s 2023 Opioid Mini-Series have been added to the ISMA Online app to help.

Each of the 10 recorded episodes is approximately 30 minutes long and is accredited for 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. These discussions feature a variety of expert faculty who focus on opioid-related topics.

Visit the ISMA Online Library, which can also be accessed via the ISMA Online app, to take advantage of this member benefit.
