Maintaining mental, physical and emotional wellness is more important than ever for physicians during this stressful time. ISMA is committed to supporting members’ well-being and will occasionally share resources to help relieve stress and care for yourself and your colleagues.

Jan. 28: Reclaim the Joy of Medicine: The 5th Annual Bounce Back Clinician Resilience Conference. This daylong virtual event, co-sponsored by ISMA, offers a time to spend with other physicians and focus on self-care, mutual support and strategies for reclaiming the joy in practicing medicine.

Managing mental health during COVID-19. These resources from the AMA will help physicians and other frontline health care professionals balance the mental stress that can come from caring for themselves, their loved ones and patients during COVID-19.

Caring for our caregivers during COVID-19. AMA has also compiled guidelines and resources for physician leaders and other health system administrators to care for physicians and other staff responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. Redistributing workloads, pet and child care, food and other needs are covered, in addition to increasing emotional and mental well-being.
