ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Richard Gunderman, MD is the Chancellor's Professor of Radiology, Pediatrics, Medical Education, Philosophy, Liberal Arts, Philanthropy, and Medical Humanities and Health Studies at Indiana University. Dr. Gunderman is a 10-time recipient of the Indiana University Trustees Teaching Award, and in 2015, he received the Indiana University School of Medicine's inaugural Inspirational Educator Award. He was named the 2008 Outstanding Educator by the Radiological Society of North America, the 2011 American Roentgen Ray Society Berlin Scholar in Professionalism, and the 2012 Distinguished Educator of the American Roentgen Ray Society. In 2012, he received the Alpha Omega Alpha Robert J. Glaser Award for Teaching Excellence, the top teaching award of the Association of American Medical Colleges. In 2013, he was the Spinoza Professor at the University of Amsterdam. In 2019, he received the Glenn Irwin Distinguished Faculty Award, and in 2020, the Association of University Radiologists awarded him its gold medal and elected him to its inaugural class of fellows.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Corey Martin, MD is a practicing physician in Minnesota, a Yale alumnus, a former chief medical officer, a Bush Fellow, and a consultant to healthcare and educational organizations in their response to burnout and moral injury. He is a certified facilitator for workshops based on the work of authors Brené Brown (“Dare to Lead”) and Parker Palmer (founder of the Center for Courage and Renewal).

ISMA PHYSICIAN ASSISTANCE PROGRAM PANEL DISCUSSION
The Indiana State Medical Association (ISMA) Physician Assistance Program was created to assist physicians experiencing difficulties in their personal or professional lives.
The ISMA program addresses a broad range of concerns including:
- Alcohol and substance use disorders
- Mental health disorders
- Disruptive behavior
- Physical illnesses

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Marie Brown, MD is a practicing internist, a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Rush Medical College in Chicago, the director of practice redesign for AMA and the immediate past governor of the American College of Physicians (ACP). Her areas of expertise include practice transformation, joy in medicine, adult immunizations, medication adherence and diabetes. Dr. Brown received her bachelor of science from the University of Dayton and her medical degree from Rush Medical College.
