This program offers a foundational understanding of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications in health care. Participants will explore key concepts, tools, and techniques that demonstrate generative AI in health care.
Objectives:
At the end of this live webinar, attendees will be able to:

About the speaker:
Mark Pierce, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine for pediatrics and clinical informatics. Now approaching his 25th year at Parkview Health in northeast Indiana, Dr. Pierce has served as chief medical informatics officer for over 15 years. His leadership has been instrumental in Parkview’s digital transformation, and he has led the organization through a system-wide EMR implementation and optimization initiative. Over the past eight years, Dr. Pierce created a business intelligence team leading innovation through data analytics. Now serving as the physician chief information officer, he is a dyad leadership partner to the chief information officer at Parkview. His accountabilities have broadened to all of the information services at Parkview, specifically now including artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives throughout the organization as well as clinical intelligence. Dr. Pierce is a frequent speaker on topics from analytics to AI and clinical leadership through webinars, national conferences and local venues. He still works part time in clinical practice.
