Program description:

Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias affect thousands of Hoosiers and are often underrecognized in routine clinical care. This webinar is designed for Indiana physicians and care teams seeking practical, evidence-based approaches to dementia risk reduction, early detection, and comprehensive care management.

Objectives:

At the end of this live webinar, attendees will be able to:

  • Differentiate dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and the continuum of disease, and explain why early detection matters.
  • Apply evidence-based strategies for dementia risk reduction and early cognitive assessment, including use of the Annual Wellness Visit (AWV).
  • Describe how interdisciplinary teams can deliver comprehensive dementia care, including use of CPT 99483 and integration of community supports for patients and caregivers.
