Program description:

Every Indiana business, including those in health care, has been affected by the COVID-19 crisis.  The legal front seems to shift every day. Congress has passed multiple laws in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, each with potentially big implications for small businesses. In this webinar, a panel of Krieg DeVault LLP attorneys who have been following developments closely will discuss key takeaways for your practice in relation to the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. This new legislation provides opportunities to minimize financial effects of the public health emergency on your health care practice.

The panel will focus on business and employment matters and will include some general business considerations, as well.

Objectives:

At the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to:

  • Take advantage of loan opportunities under the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).
  • Categorize loans and grants available under the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program (EIDLP).
  • Summarize paid sick leave requirements and tax credits available under the FFCRA and CARES acts.
  • Recognize other business “Do’s, Don’ts and Be Carefuls.”
