Meet ISMA's health policy fellow
Brad Schroeder, an OMS-II at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine, joined ISMA for the summer as health policy fellow.

“Brad went above and beyond on any project we gave him to provide exceptional analysis and a complete background,” said ISMA Health Policy Director Scott Gartenman, JD.

Brad earned a BS in biology from Notre Dame and an MS in biomedical science policy and advocacy from Georgetown. He has worked at Windber Research Institute, Health Security Partners, the U.S. House of Representatives and Horizon Government Affairs.

“I have been able to become involved with some of the biggest concerns facing Indiana physicians, and that early exposure will undoubtedly prove to be useful,” Brad said. “I look forward to staying involved with ISMA.”

The ISMA Medical Student Society initiated the program, and ISMA Resolution 17-17 would fund future fellowships.
