All Indiana medical faculty, residents, students and health professionals are invited to attend the 2024 Finding Inspiration and Resilience in Medicine (FIRM) Conference, “Finding Light in the Dark: Rediscovering Passion in Medicine,” on Feb. 26. 

FIRM will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ascension St. Vincent William K. Nasser Healthcare Education and Simulation Center, 1801 W. 86th St., Indianapolis, 46260. ISMA is proud to sponsor the conference again in 2024.

The annual collaboration between IU School of Medicine and Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine brings together medical professionals and students in Indianapolis for sessions on wellness, mental health and self-care. 

Graham Carlos, MD, an Indiana University Bicentennial Professor of Medicine serving as the executive medical director for IU Health physicians at Eskenazi Health, will be the keynote speaker. Additional speakers include Drs. Maria Russ, Richard Gunderman, Sunit-preet Chaudhry, Steven Bennett, Johnathan Walker and Michael Massaro.
