The 169th Annual ISMA Convention is just one week away, on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 29-30, at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel Keystone Crossing. It’s not too late to register, and to sign up for special events such as The Happy MD Physician Wellness Workshop on Friday, Sept. 28, and the President’s Celebration on Saturday.

Convention parking details
Overnight hotel guests: Convention-goers staying at the Sheraton receive complimentary parking, with in/out privileges. Use your room key card to enter and exit the garage. When you leave for the final time, scan and deposit your card key in the drop box at the gate.

Day guests: Non-hotel guests will receive a parking voucher from the ISMA registration desk when they register. When you leave the garage, insert your white parking ticket, followed by your voucher. You will need to obtain a separate voucher from the ISMA registration desk for each day of the convention.

Reference committees to meet in reverse order
ISMA Speaker Roberto Darroca, MD, has elected to hold reference committee meetings consecutively and in reverse order in the House of Delegates (HOD) room on Saturday, during the first HOD session. Reference Committee 4 will meet first, at 9 am, followed by Reference Committees 3 and 2. When Reference Committee 2 is finished, there will be a short break to let delegates visit the lunch buffet before Reference Committee 1 convenes over a working lunch. This is to ensure ample time to discuss several resolutions in Reference Committee 1 that would affect the governance and future direction of ISMA.
