Free online sessions teach mindfulness in health care
The Mindful Healthcare Summit is a free online event promoting evidence-based practices to improve patient care, support personal well-being and help address systemic challenges within the health care system. 

From Thursday, May 23, to Monday, May 27, more than 25 leading mindfulness experts, researchers and medical professionals will explore topics such as mindfulness in health care, focusing the mind, building resilience and work-life balance, connecting and communicating with compassion, and transforming systems and culture. Presenters include Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD, founding executive director of the Center for Mindfulness and founder of the Stress Reduction Clinic; and Daniel Goleman, PhD, researcher and best-selling author of Emotional Intelligence.
