Please plan to join ISMA at the Statehouse on Wednesday, Jan. 30, for Raise it for Health Advocacy Day. Be sure to wear your white coat as we and other Alliance for a Healthier Indiana members create awareness of the need to raise the cigarette tax to help Hoosiers quit smoking, protect youth and strengthen Indiana businesses.

From 10 am to 4 pm, advocates will gather and meet with legislators, urging them to support HB 1565. The American Lung Association will release a new report card showing Indiana receives an F for addressing smoke, and the day’s theme will be “Raise the Tax to Raise Our Grade.”
