Program Description
The opioid epidemic continues to be the focus of legislation and administrative rulemaking in Indiana. Join our team of ISMA representatives as they discuss Indiana’s legislative priorities surrounding opioid prescribing and dispensing. They will give an overview of state legislation that sets guidelines for opioid prescriptions and the expansion of treatment options in our state.
Objectives:
At the end of this webinar, attendees should be able to:
- Identify the 2018 legislative priorities and understand how they may impact physicians.
- Understand existing compliance requirements.
- Understand new legal requirements affecting medical practices in Indiana.
- Identify common controlled substance prescribing violations brought before the Indiana Medical Licensing Board.
