All members engaged in medical mission trips are eligible to apply for the ISMA's Medical Mission Scholarship of up to $3,000. Nominations for the 2008 award closed on Nov. 1, 2007. Any missions taken after Sept. 1, 2007, and any time in 2008 are eligible. Please keep this award in mind next fall when applications will be accepted for the 2009 scholarship.
Applicants must obtain the endorsement of their county medical society or Alliance to be considered. One scholarship will be awarded in a random drawing. To apply, write to your county medical society or county alliance.
Please include:
- Your name, address, e-mail and phone number(s)
- Dates and location of proposed trip
- Information about other sponsors and/or mission coordinators
- Appropriate documentation, including expense details
