MDwise
Claims must be filed within 180 days from the date of service. If Provider possesses the capabilities, claims should be filed electronically.

However, since MDwise has nine delivery systems and they all have different filing deadline, this 180 days may not apply to all delivery system contracts within MDwise.

All patient encounter data must be provided by the 15 th of the month following the month in which the patient encounter occurs. Claims must be submitted within 120 days from the date of service.

Anthem
One hundred eighty (180) days from the date of service.
