ISDH now offers online CME

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) wants to help public health and medicine work more closely together. As a key step in that process, the ISDH has now debuted online training courses for public health and medicine providers. The courses allow you to receive continuing medical education credit while sitting at your home or office computer.

The first training module, now available, covers the topic of osteoporosis.

According to 2000 census data, 444,500 women and men in Indiana suffer from osteoporosis and low bone mass, which results in 8,000 hospital admissions in our state every year.

To earn CME credits and learn more about osteoporosis care and treatment, visit here.

Watch the site for future topics like H1N1, immunization and meningococcal.
