Do you see Medicare and Medicaid patients? Do you know the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is tightening the existing Stark Law limits?

CMS has proposed a number of changes set to become effective in 2008. Many current physician practice arrangements may need significant change or even dissolution if the proposals become law.

Make sure you are current with the latest thinking regarding the purchase of diagnostic services, physician referrals, joint ventures and compensation packages. Get up to date with knowledge about anti-mark-up provisions, services furnished "under arrangement," per-click payments and percentage-based compensation.

You can learn about the potential rule changes governing most ancillary business interests of physicians this fall. Attend a free seminar Sept. 11, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Marriott North in Indianapolis, hosted by the ISMA and the law firm of Krieg DeVault.
