Disciplinary, license information for physicians, others now online
The Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (PLA), which includes the state’s Medical Licensing Board, has introduced a new service allowing users to search for disciplinary actions online. The 37 health and non-health boards and committees that fall under the PLA umbrella are included.
The search function on the site lists actions occurring in the last 90 days, or users can do an advanced search by individual licensee that will provide a full history of actions involving an individual’s license.
This function has been operational for only a few weeks, but a substantial amount of cases already have been entered.
To check out the Web-based PLA service, use the menu option License Litigation found on the left side of the PLA home page.
Get the minutes too
Now you can access an archive of meeting minutes of the Medical Licensing Board on the MLB Web site.
While the site remains under construction with only recent years available, all meeting minutes eventually will be scanned and posted on the Web site.
