A successful ISMA Pilot Leadership Training project conducted June 21 may be the first in a regular series. The session, led by Jim Funk, M.S., SPHR, Leadership and Organizational Development Consultant, focused on two topics: conflict resolution and fundamentals of mentoring. The 28 attendees included students from Indiana's two medical schools, residents, physicians and ISMA leaders. Most highly appreciated were negotiation tactics and the opportunity to interact and discuss issues.
