The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Immunization Program advised that letters are being sent to homes of Indiana residents to ensure children are up to date on vaccines prior to the 2014-2015 school year. The effort is an attempt to prevent another outbreak of meningococcal disease and hepatitis A, as occurred in the state in recent years.

Find a posting of current immunization requirements on the ISDH website at in.gov; password and login not required.
