Petition drive to fix Medicare formula continues
More than 1,338 Hoosier doctors, their family, friends and medical staff members have signed an online petition to tell Congress to fix the Medicare payment formula. If you still haven’t signed the Medicare petition visit here.

Here’s more you can do
The ISMA has reached out to senior centers, but additional efforts to bring Medicare patients into the campaign are needed. You can download a letter urging your Medicare patients to sign the petition at the ISMA website. Petitions are also available.

Due to government regulations, physicians cannot collect patients’ signatures on a petition. But you can give the petition to your patients with the letter or display a copy of the letter in your office.

The campaign to collect one million signatures now involves 50 state medical associations and more than 20 specialty societies. At deadline signatures nationally numbered 60,000.
