Dr. Hatcher

Congratulations to Lisa Hatcher, M.D., of Columbia City! Dr. Hatcher was the winner of the ISMA’s e-newsletter ICD-10 contest. The family medicine physician was the first to respond with the correct answer explaining the code Z00.01; she won a free registration to an ISMA ICD-10 seminar or webinar.

In fact, Dr. Hatcher has already been seizing ISMA opportunities to learn ICD-10.

“I have tried to take advantage of educational offerings that came along. The first was an ISMA seminar several years ago. The class was a short CME introduction to ICD-10,” she explained. “Then I sent my office managers to a seminar on the subject. They probably were pushing me to get more familiar with what to expect, so I did some online and journal reading.”

Dr. Hatcher and her staff are attending an ICD-10 webinar as guests of the ISMA. You can find a host of resources, webinars and education offerings on ICD-10 on the ISMA website.
