Whether you are a veteran coder or a newcomer, you won’t want to miss the ISMA’s Annual Coding Symposium, March 2-4. This three-day educational program offers medical specialties tips to prepare for new codes and regulations, as well as new coverage for procedures.

“The symposium presents an excellent opportunity for participants to have their questions answered,” noted Gloria Kirkham, ISMA practice advisor. “Everyone is urged to bring their 2010 coding books.”

Each session will help you:

  • Discuss effects of reporting office procedures with evaluation and management services
  • Identify new specialty-specific CPT codes and modifiers and their appropriate use
  • Address consulting codes eliminated by Medicare

The program will be held at the Valle Vista Golf Club and Conference Center in Greenwood. Morning sessions are from 8:30-11:45 a.m. Afternoon sessions are from 1:15-4:30 p.m.

For information, call Jill Bruce at (800) 257-4762 or (317) 261-2060. View the schedule or register online.
