The IU School of Medicine (IUSM) currently has several matches available for scholarship gifts. Each of these scholarships may be named by the donor:

  1. Your gift of $100,000 creating or adding to an existing endowed scholarship can be matched by another $100,000, establishing a $200,000 endowed scholarship. Each year in perpetuity, your scholarship of $10,000 or more will be awarded. Payments for this gift made be outright or stretched over five years.
  2. Your pledge of $5,000 each year for four years (total of $20,000) to a Dean’s Council Scholarship will be matched dollar-for-dollar, providing the student recipient with a $10,000 annual scholarship for four years.
  3. Your outright gift of $5,000 to the Medical Education Scholarship will be matched with $5,000, providing a one-time scholarship award of $10,000. Medical Education Scholarship gifts received by May 15, 2011, will be awarded for the 2011-2012 academic year.

If you would like more information about any of these match opportunities, please contact Jill Kooiman in the IUSM Office of Gift Development at 317-278-2113. You can also download a gift card on the ISMA website.
