If you provide Medicare services to Part B patients in Kentucky, you should have received a letter from CIGNA Government Services that needs a response. Practices in southern counties likely know Cigna is now the Medicare carrier for Kentucky, while Indiana remains with National Government Services (NGS).

Physicians enrolled with NGS for electronic payments must submit a revised CMS-588 EFT Authorization Agreement for CIGNA no later than March 18 for patients seen in Jurisdiction 15. However, services you provide here for Kentucky residents should continue to be billed to NGS. Billing is based on place of service.

To ensure proper processing, do not delay. Complete and mail the authorization today to:

CIGNA Government Services,
ATTN: EFT-J15, P.O. Box 690
Nashville, TN, 37202

Find the agreement document on the CMS website.
