As changes prompted by health care reform move forward, new information constantly becomes available. The ISMA will pass along resources as they are identified or announced.

Four newly created Internet sites provide details about the latest public and private health insurance options, health information careers and electronic health record incentive programs.

Healthcare.gov
Set up to help small business owners (perhaps like you and your medical practice), this site can help you find out about new insurance options, including high-risk insurance pools.

AMA guidance on healthcare.gov
This AMA site can help you learn more about what is featured on the previous healthcare.gov site; the link takes you to the July 8 issue of AMA Health System Reform Insight.

CMS EHR incentives
This website was launched to advise who is eligible for incentive programs, how to register, and also to help you understand meaningful use and discover training programs and events.

HI careers
Launched by the American Health Information Management Association for students and professionals, this updated website is an interactive, one-stop shop for anyone interested in learning about careers in health information. (Be sure also to see the July 12 ISMA Reports at www.ismanet.org/news/ViewArticle.aspx?ArticleId=141.)
