HB 1093, which became law this month, requires you to provide written information to expectant patients when they receive a prenatal diagnosis of Down Syndrome or other disorder.

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) now has a handout you can use to inform your patients about:

  • Screening and diagnostic tests
  • Types of conditions diagnosed prenatally
  • Advantages of early diagnosis
  • Resources available

Find the handout at in.gov.
