With a declared end to the Ebola outbreak, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) have issued new guidelines for patients returning from Liberia.

“The CDC and the ISDH recommend health care providers take thorough histories (covering health, travel and exposure) and use clinical judgement to evaluate patients based on those histories and their symptoms,” noted the ISDH directive.
