The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), part of the National Institutes of Health, provides online continuing medical education, training and resources to help you identify early drug use in patients.

The CME courses address opioid and pain management, but also demonstrate how to discuss health risk behaviors with patients. The website provides the latest information on clinical trials for new treatment options, as well as a drug screening tool.
